Today’s page was the first page of third batch of pages for this issue and I was very excited to finally get to draw the Speedy Sphere Supreme. Doing a parody of the fast ball special from X-Men was something I wanted to try for some time. Having a large character like Deadeye and a smaller character like Eagleheart meant it was a no-brainer that I would have to a FBS at some point. I just hope that non X-Men fans can at least appreciate the concept of Eagleheart being thrown through the air like a baseball.
