Yahoo! Happy Thursday everyone! Hope everyone is having a great week so far. I am still in recovery mode after 2 days of hardcore Stampeding with Sabrina. In just 2 days I managed to get hypnotized, go on a dozen different rides and attractions, sit in an $8000 massage chair, spend way too much money on food and I even walked away with a vintage 27×40 poster from Transformers the animated movie from 1987! Very excited to hang that in my house. Now its time to buckle down and post some mind blowing pages of Team Stryker!

Now that the issue has officially begun I can tell you a little bit about the back story of how I decided that I wanted issue 2 to take place in a park. I don’t know about you but when I was a kid there was no place more magical than the neighbourhood playground. In the blink of an eye you could transform that place into anywhere in the world and beyond! One second you are dangling from monkey bars as if you were clinging to the side of a mountain and in the next moment you are swinging from metal ring to ring beside Tarzan in the Amazon jungle. When I started thinking about what I wanted to do for a follow up issue I knew I wanted it to be more over the top than the first while still providing excellent set pieces for Team Stryker to run rampant on. I started thinking about how when I was younger I would pretend to be a soldier taking cover from enemy fire from behind the slide and thought to myself “What if soldiers really did fight it out on the slides?” and the rest is history. I think you will be very surprised to see what crazy twists and turns this issue takes as you tune in every week.

Also a quick side note for those of you living in Calgary: My first order of Team Stryker Mission 001 comics have arrived! I have 50 copies for sale for $5 and they are going fast! If you would like one you can either comment on this post or contact me on Facebook or Twitter. These are rare issues and won’t be around for long so if you want to be apart of Team Stryker history don’t miss this chance!
