Happy Monday Team Stryker fans! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend! I spent my weekend finishing inking Mission 004 and have now moved on to coloring! I’m very excited. One of the reasons I love having a comic series is that I get to flex so many different creative muscles that I wouldn’t normally get to if I worked in any other medium. If Team Stryker was a novel I wouldn’t get to experience all the thought that goes into panel layouts, character design or even speech bubble placement. If I just did Team Stryker in black and white I wouldn’t get to appreciate the thrill of trying a new lighting effect or the puzzle solving that goes into coloring an explosion just right. I never want to take any shortcuts with Team Stryker because I would feel like I’m cheating myself as much as I’m cheating you. If  just one person appreciates the hard work that goes into making each page of Team Stryker it will have been worth it 100 times over.

For those of you that might have missed them I’ve been a little busy on the podcast scene and have done two podcast interviews lately if you want to check them out. You can find me hanging with The Wombmates here as well as doing a comic book round up with the guys at Comic Talk here. Hopefully I’ll be doing a few more in the upcoming weeks so stay tuned!
